DEMONSTRATING AND TEACHING
I am a regular demonstrator of painting in watercolour and mixed media technique
to art societies and clubs in South East England. My painting demonstrations
are lively, informal and informative and I enjoy discussion and conversation
during the evening and try to be helpful in explaining my technique and approach
to landscape painting.

I also run my own painting classes in Dorking, teaching water colour and mixed
media approaches to landscape and still-life subjects. The classes are small,
a maximum of 15 people and take place on Friday and Monday mornings. I also teach
at Pump Gallery, Dorking. Classes are held throughout the year, with classes
in the afternoon, morning and evening with regular Saturday workshops.

PAINTING HOLIDAYS
For the last 7 years I have worked for a holiday company as a painting tutor with Susie Hunt on the Greek island of Zakynthos. In 2008 Susie and I are once again joining forces, but this time to run our own holiday on this lovely island. As in the past we will be combining our experience and expertise to offer a creative and rewarding week of painting the beautiful Greek landscape,mostly using water-based media but oil painters and pasellists are also most welcome.Please look at the following page for details of the holiday and booking form.
I also run my own painting holidays in North Cornwall. We stay in an attractive, stone built, well-appointed converted farm building only metres from the sea and Cornish coastal path, with use of a large studio. The painting group is a maximum of 10 people and guidance is given on all aspects of water-based media. Concentrating mostly on landscape, we try to capture the glorious coastal cliffs and beaches and visit the harbours of Port Isaac, Padstow, Boscastle etc. A creatively rewarding week and one that is also a lot of fun.
